Pauline Long launches the biggest all African reality TV talent show in London

The world is getting ready to be wooed by African talent. Africa’s World Best (AWB) reality TV show launched at a cocktail reception on 6th February at the Kenya High Commission, London, attended by Miss East Africa UK/Miss Kenya UK Vicky Ngari and Miss West Africa Amina Kamara , various African press and celebrities. The reality TV show which is scheduled to take place in Kenya in April is drawing much attention from talented Africans in Europe, USA, UK and Africa.

Pauline Long and Mr and Miss East Africa team of volunteers feed the street children of Kampala

Uganda often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Africa’ and gifted by nature is bordered on the north by Sudan, on the south by Rwanda and Tanzania, on the east by Kenya, and on the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Uganda has substantial natural resources, including fertile soils, regular rainfall, and sizable mineral deposits of copper and cobalt. Agriculture is the most important sector of the economy, employing over 80% of the work force, with coffee accounting for the bulk of export revenues. Though Uganda is endured by nature, it has got an overwhelming number of children on the streets and suburbs of Kampala. Most of these children find their way to the streets as a result of poverty, wars, harassment and negligence by their parents.

Pauline Long receives nomination as THE MOST INNOVATIVE KENYAN IN THE UK at the UK KENYA ACHIEVERS AWARDS

Being nominated for the first ever red carpet event celebrating Kenyan achievers in the UK is a great honour; Pauline Long is ecstatic about the nomination and would like to win this award which she has dedicated to Mr and Mrs Menya of Hope for the child charity that looks after children orphaned through HIV/AIDS in a remote village in Western Kenya.
